Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about our company and the lawn care industry.

Landscape/Island Design

We have systems for everything to make sure we are as efficient as possible on all projects.

1. We render a visual for you to see our ideas for your island or landscaping. You will also receive an estimate for presented design.

2.When approved, we setup and install date.

3. We install and complete your project.

4. We have maintenance plans available to care for our landscape installations.

We are great at picking out flowers, hedges, and trees that are drought tolerant. This allows you to have a worry free, low maintenance landscape around your home. This is especially great for folks that are not always at their Florida home.

No. Sure irrigation helps, but most of the plants we instal can withstand long periods of drought. If we install specific plants that may require water, a drip system can be installed.

We have stone ranging from brown river rock, white marble, and darker colored grays. To see all of our stone colors and types click here.

All of our plants and trees are sourced from local islands in and around Cape Coral, FL.

Lawn Services

While we don’t hold anyone against their will, we do have an agreement to sign before starting services.

Customers of Lawn Reaper may cancel at anytime with  in 30 days notice. This allows us to replace routes and keep operations seamless.

Per most lawn companies, we charge an average monthly price for the year. We work harder in the summer, and less in the winter.

Currently, we are serving Cape Coral & Matlacha residents only.

Never! You’ll only spot the reaper if you are lucky. He only comes out for marketing purposes. It’s too hot for him during the day!

Our pay for performance structure allows our team to not only have a job, but a career. Our service members benefit from doing a good job and being vigilent of homeowners properties.

May through October brings the heavy rains in sub-tropical Cape Coral. Although we can typically work around spotty summertime storms, there may be a few rare instances when we show up to your home and poor weather affects our service for that week. While we will try and service your property the following day, this weather may result in a skipped service. This is rare, but can occur due to significant weather and large rain patterns moving into the Gulf.

We provide typical lawn maintenance tasks such as: mowing, trimming, hard-edging, tree trimming, hedge trimming, plant transplants, mulching & decorative stone, hurricane cleanup, and landscape design.

We like to keep it simple. We offer our Reaper 36 plan which includes 36 services a year with the option to add services in the dry months if need be. (Typically this schedule works well for almost all lawns including those with bahia and St. augustine/floratam grasses.  Services are performed according to our schedule that can be seen here.

May-October is rainy season here in Cape Coral. The humidity is usually around 60-80%. Grass grows fastest during these months.

No. As a matter of fact, we wont weed eat around it either. Reel up your hoses!

If your gate is 43″ or wider, we can fit our zero turn in your backyard. We fit through most all gates in Cape Coral.

A lot of them do! The good news is they usually drain within a few hours. If we encounter this during the time of your mow, we will bypass the area until the following week.

Your lawn may be skipped or objects may be mowed around. It is not our duty to pickup your junk.

Repeat offenders may be discontinued from our services. It is important our team remains efficient.

As more homes are built in Cape Coral, and we service more lawns we are noticing a type of Bahia grass that grows 4 times faster than other lawns we service. Seriously, this stuff is on steroids!  These lawns are subject to poor cuttings due to the structure of the tall seedlings and overall thickness from heavy fertilizer. These blades sometimes tend to “mohawk”  in the center of the cut. These lawns sometimes need a double cut to look good.

You can contact the Reaper himself here.
